Preserve original photographs and recordings unchanged. Do not sharpen, crop, enhance, circle, or annotate the subject before retaining the original file.

The initial form does not accept attachments. If follow-up is needed, the reply will explain how to transfer an original file without sending it through a public form.

Reports may be cataloged as unresolved, probable misidentification, high interest, repeat-site, or unclassified anomalous pending review.

Evidence Handling

Photograph tracks or disturbed objects before touching them. Include a scale where possible. Do not wash, trim, comb, or otherwise prepare recovered hair or fiber samples.

If multiple witnesses were present, each person should write an independent account before discussing details with the group.
